Gang Zhang, DPT, LAcÂ
Dr. Zhang’s journey has always been centered around helping people live healthier, more fulfilling lives. After earning his Physical Therapy degree from Long Island University in 2002, becoming a licensed acupuncturist in 2008, and receiving his herbology certification in 2019, he has dedicated his career to restoring health through a combination of modern rehabilitation and traditional healing practices.

As the former Assistant Rehabilitation Director at Gouverneur Hospital, Dr. Zhang helped patients recover from injuries, regain mobility, and return to the activities they loved. For the past 13 years in private practice, he has combined physical therapy, acupuncture, and herbal medicine to provide personalized care that bridges Western medicine and Eastern healing traditions
Outside of work, Dr. Zhang enjoys playing table tennis, going on hikes, and maintaining a daily meditation practice. He also loves spending time with his two cats.
